This is a replacement cap for the passenger side of a Dana60 Steering axle.
It can also be used on the driver side if you have full hydraulic steering.
This replacement for the spring and stamped steel cover will tighten up your steering and not allow any play as the spring setup would.

This is a replacement cap for the passenger side of a Dana60 Steering axle.

This replacement for the spring and stamped steel cover will tighten up your steering and not allow any play as the spring setup would.

The setscrew in the center of the cap pushes against the center of the thick washer, which in turn holds pressure against the teflon (or brass) cone on top of the kingpin. The difference between this and the stock spring setup is that with a side load on the tire, the spring will allow the cone to move out of position, essentially letting the wheel float. This is especially significant if you are running large or heavy tires.

This billet cover is made by Trusted Design Services, LLC of Bandera County, TX.
Made from solid 6061-T6 aluminum barstock.
Bolt pattern matches kingpin style Dana 60 steering axles.
