The factory plastic knobs become brittle in the sunlight are will eventually break.
About the item:
This knob is made by Trusted Design Services, LLC of Bandera County, TX.
Made from solid 6061-T6 aluminum barstock and red anodized.
Duplicated from a NOS Spicer plastic knob.
Correct for Dana 60 internal locking hubs :
Chevy/GMC 1977 to 1982
Ford 1978 and 1979
Dodge did not use them but they will fit Dana 60 1989-1993?

Please compare the ramp height of your knob as shown in pics before ordering.
If your knob is approx .040" shorter, please contact us.
CAUTION:
If your outer ring has been re-chromed (see pic), check the bore size where the new knob fits into.
The o-ring bore should measure 2.495"-2.500".
This new knob measures 2.480", based on original parts.
